JFS Dallas wanted to update their site to be more appealing to visitors & donors. Their previous site had been built with IFrames which made it not so "user friendly". Their new site features a searchable job board and a mobile version of the site. They can now keep their website updated as needed with the use of a Joomla CMS.

The Witte Museum wanted a new design for their website that would attract new visitors as well as prompt folks to sign up as museum members. Their previous website didn't have a consistent look and feel so the new design reflected this as well as the mission of the organization. They can now keep their website updated as needed with the use of a Joomla CMS.

Western Horseman Magazine needed some assistance converting a PSD design into a usable Joomla template. I converted and coded the template and implemented content in their Joomla CMS.

As a non profit organization, it's important that their website conveys their mission. The new design focuses on programs at the food bank and includes an "action center" to encourage the community to reach out and offer assistance in anyway they can.

The wine and food foundation of texas needed a new design for their membership portal. I designed the site as a Joomla template which also included a password protected area for their members. The site also featured importing of their blog and twitter feeds.

The organization needed a clean and easy to update website with a password protected area for their employees. I designed the site to reflect the mission of the organization and put it into a Joomla CMS so that it would be easy for them to update as needed.
About Me
Hello, my name is Patsy, a freelance web designer. For over 17 years I have been working with companies and non profit organizations to establish their web presence. My specialty lies in developing designs to be placed into a Joomla CMS so that it's easier for the client to keep it updated.
All my sites are designed in HTML and CSS. All are cross browser compatible. I try to make use of open source tools in everything I do in order to make it easier on the client.
This portfolio contains all my designs and/or development implementations. Some designs are while being employed by different organizations such as NPower Texas and others are private clients.
On a personal note: I really enjoy working with non-profit organizations in my community. I'm on the marketing committee for Operation Kindness, North-Texas Only No-Kill Animal Shelter and I'm a volunteer for the Dallas Resource Center. I also serve as Vice-President for OKC Pride.
So I understand and value non-profits and their mission to reach and benefit the community.
